A company who offer an integrated range of housing & care solutions for older and disabled people are currently looking for additional support in the HR department in Slough.

You will have very recent experience working in a similar role providing support in the following areas:
Business Support

  • To provide consistent advice and support across all areas of HR to designated area of responsibility under the guidance of the HR Business Partner Management Information
  • Co-ordinate the process for the production of HR statistical information across the business area.

Recruitment

  • Advise and participate in the Associations recruitment and selection procedures, ensuring that they comply with organisational procedures in liaison with the HR support team.
  • To review on an on-going basis job descriptions for individual posts to ensure continuing relevance to the needs of the business Learning and Development
  • Liaise with the L&D team to facilitate effective learning within the business units

General HR

  • Support the HR the Management Team to facilitate organisational change when required.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects across Directorates as required.

Employee Relations

  • Under the guidance of the HR Business Partner advise line managers and staff on all aspects of employee relations in line with policies and procedures. This includes interpretation of current employment legislation and the effects of any change.
  • Provide 1st line advice to line managers on both short and long term sickness absence and accompany line managers on home visits.
  • Provide 1st line advice on disciplinary, grievance and capability issues in line with policies and procedures. This may involve attending hearings and appeals as necessary.
