Job Description
Holden Jones is working in partnership with a widely recognised, family run Motor Dealership based near Northolt in recruiting a Financial Controller to join the management team and drive growth.
Reporting into the Company Directors and managing a team of 3 Clerks, your main responsibility will be to accurately publish the monthly accounts pack whilst driving down costs, improving process efficiencies and working closely with the MD to develop business strategies to increase profitability.
You will be on hand to answer any questions relating to the company financials in a simple manner which is easily understood by non-financial people and also take the responsibility for recruitment, training and staff appraisals.
This is a hands on, operational position whereby you will be expected to converse with the Directors on all business matters and play an active part in the decision making process so ideally you will have come from a smaller privately owned company background where you have had similar levels of exposure. This is a great opportunity for an Accountant from within the industry to take on a fresh challenge and genuinely make an impact. Qualified, Part Qualified and QBE candidates will be equally considered so long as you have the right ambitious attitude and experience required.
