Test Technician / Analyst

Reading £13,000 - £14,000


Our client are a global leader within their field who offer consultative services to their clients across numerous industries. Due to ongoing success within the business they are now looking to recruit several test technicians / analysts who will undertaking critical test routines using standard test criteria. This is a fantastic role for an individual with a background / qualification in science to join a company that will offer excellent career ongoing training and support. The ideal candidate will either have a science background / qualification with good administrative skills or come from a testing / laboratory background.

Primary Functions

* To contribute to the planning of testing of samples.
* To set up, carry out and record practical work under monitoring at a general level with the need
for on the job training for some tasks.
* To check out put records and calculations.
* To complete standardised test result sheets and worksheets.
* To take responsibility for the completion of tasks.
* To carry out general laboratory duties on a regular basis.

Technical

* To take responsibility for and maintain laboratory equipment

Person Specification

* To understand and follow oral and written instructions.
* To learn assigned tasks readily and adhere to prescribed routines.
* Basic computer knowledge
* Ability to produce concise, accurate and methodical reporting of results.
* Ideally educated to “A” level standard or equivalent in sciences.
